What You’ll Do: As an Assistant Marketing / MARCOMM Officer, you’ll support our marketing and fundraising strategies, helping to amplify our organisation and engage the community. You’ll work closely with our MARCOMM Manager to develop content and emails, manage social media channels, coordinate events, and assist in running SPCA’s Preloved Charity Shop.

Key Criteria:

• Animal Lover (A MUST) – If you have a heart for animals, we need you!
• Age: 23 to 35 years old
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (preferably Malaysian)
• Flexibility to work on weekends (rotational weekends) and certain holidays
• Experience in management skills (bonus)
• Digital marketing expertise is a bonus
• A multitasker who can juggle various responsibilities
• Own transport required – no nearby train station!
• Friendly, approachable, and loves interacting with people
• Versatile and adaptable in different situations
• Willingness to Learn – Experience is not necessary, but you must be eager and open to learning new skills!
• Strong people and communication skills
• Positive attitude with a team player mindset
• Multi-lingual skills are a bonus
• Strong administrative skills and organisational abilities
• Must enjoy meeting new people and building connections

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma is preferred, not necessarily related to Marketing & Communications.
• Experience is not necessary; a strong willingness to learn is essential.

What You’ll Do:
As a Kennel Officer, you’ll work closely with our Kennel Manager to ensure the highest standards of care and comfort for our animals. You’ll play a hands-on role in the daily care, maintenance, and well-being of our animals. Additionally, you’ll learn to assist in the adoption process, helping potential adopters find the perfect match and guiding them through the steps to give our animals a loving forever home.

Requirements:

• Own transport required
• Comfortable with dogs or willing to learn
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (preferably Malaysian)
• Flexible schedule (must be available to work weekends and certain public holidays)
• Physical labour (outdoor and hands-on work required)
• Age: 21-35
